An urgent request was made for spousal support due to impending homelessness and for Mr. Roberts to relinquish possession of the bunnies. Steve Korn, Certified Legal Intern, consistently asserted that the ex parte had been filed. In the meantime, I was facing impending homelessness.
On 11/3/2021, at 4:40 p.m., certified legal intern Steve Korn from Mumford Law Group, LLP, under the supervision of Lisa Mumford, replied to my 3:44 p.m. email, stating that he would get my ex parte filed for spousal support, and that they should hear back by early the next week.
On 11/8/2021, at 1:53 p.m., I emailed Steve Korn inquiring about the status of the ex parte, with my impending homelessness being an urgent matter, and again at 4:28 p.m. Sylas Kern replied at 4:51 p.m., stating that the ex parte had been filed the previous week.
On 11/9/2021, at 1:56 p.m., I again inquired about the status due to impending homelessness, and began copying supervising attorney Lisa Mumford.
On 11/12/2021, at 10:18 a.m., I inquired again, as this was an urgent matter.
On 11/11/2021, at 4:40 p.m., Steve Korn replied stating that there was still no word from the court.
On 11/12/2021, at 10:18 a.m., I inquired again as it was Friday, and I was in urgent need of spousal support to avoid becoming homeless. At 12:48 p.m., Steve Korn replied, stating that there was still no word.
On 11/15/2021, at 6:35 p.m., I requested proof that the ex parte had been filed.
On 11/16/2021, at 8:43 a.m., I inquired again regarding the status, and asked for proof that the ex parte had been filed. Steve Korn replied at 11:28 a.m. by attaching the ex parte, with no message.
On 11/19/2021, at 1:21 p.m., Steve Korn replied, stating that Attorney Mumford would like to discuss how to best assist me. At 2:05 p.m., I replied, simply stating that I was homeless.
The ex parte was not filed with the court until 11/12/2021, causing me to live in my vehicle beginning in mid-November. The court date was on December 3, 2021.
Eventually, I had to file for a wage assignment against Mr. Roberts because he wasn't paying the court-ordered spousal support and wouldn’t let me know the status of whether or not they were still alive.
